As an active researcher, student and educator in the discipline of communication studies, I find that it is essential to maintain a centralized online presence so that I can share my research interests and findings with those interested in learning about communication processes. I am also an active wife, mother and member of my local and global community, and find that my most rewarding experiences are those that connect my research and educational efforts with these other important roles in my life. It is my belief that the best of what we can offer is the product of our connections with others and one of the most vital things we can do is respect one another and to connect our ideas so that we may build from them together.
